YUM! Homemade Post Workout Granola Bars with only 146 calories, with 7 g of protein, 3 g of fiber!
Searching for a portable, clean, high protein snack to eat after a workout or on the go, I could not find a low sugar, high protein granola bar recipe. I found a few recipes and made them to my liking but felt like they were too heavy or not sweet enough. I decided to try making my own and after 3 attempts, have finally created a keeper. It has a perfect 3:1 carb to protein ratio frequently recommended to have after a strength workout.

Enjoying a delicious greek yogurt snack with @LoveGrownFoods granola after my strength training workout!
Thank you to Love Grown granola for sending over a few samples. It is my new favorite granola in all honesty! It has the least amount of sugar and calories of most granola that I have tried. With only 120 calories per 1/4 cup serving, the Simply Oats was more than enough with my morning greek yogurt and berries. To be honest, half would probably have be sufficient.
The raisin almond crunch and cocoa goodness were also amazing. I also love Uncle Sam’s cereal in my greek yogurt. It reminds me of what it would be like to start making granola but forget to add the honey and bake it. I also like FEED granola, but that may be because the two guys who started the company are super cute and were friendly when I met them at Expo East a few years back.
