Healthy ‘n’ Creamy Pesto Recipe - The Sarah Fit Show
Learn how to make a weight loss friendly dinner dish with this creamy pesto recipe.
Recipe:2 cups Chopped Basil1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese2 tbsp Toasted Pine Nuts3 cloves Chopped Garlic1/3 cup Parsley1 cup Greek Yogurt (non fat or 2 %)2 tbsp Sundried Tomatoes (optional)Salt, Pepper and Red Pepper Flakes to taste!
Put all ingredients into a food processor. Blend until it forms a creamy consistency.
Meal Ideas:Top grilled fish or chicken with the Pesto.Add to whole wheat pasta or quinoa, add grape tomatoes, roasted red peppers and grilled chicken.Spread on Ezekial Bread with sliced turkey, lettuce and tomato. Mix with canned tuna for a yummy tuna salad.
