I Finally Reached my Goal Weight!

Most of you that read SarahFit.com know that before Christmas I was “eating clean for Mike D.”  Here is the final product.  I hope my hard work paid off.  Please share this video with any one you know that is trying to lose weight this new year.

Here is why you need to watch this video along with everyone else!

1. I am 5 feet and 4.5 inches tall, 129.5 lbs and am not planning to lose ANY more weight.

2. My body fat is 15% and anything below that is really unhealthy for women.  Take that celebrities who think they know everything.

3. Knowing my basal metabolic rate is what helped me understand what and how much I could eat and still lose or maintain.

4.  Lifting weights changed my body!  I dropped the cardio, upped the weight and literally the fat fell off.  I did not bulk up ladies.

5.  Eating clean is how to lose weight the fastest!  Cut out carbs, except for oatmeal in the morning, and eat lean protein and veggies!

I busted a stalkerish move because I was curious to see how long Sarah Fit has been on Tumblr and she goes way back and this post caught my eye along the archives…THAT is my goal, we are the same height, although slightly different body shape, that is what I aim for, to be lean and toned and healthy! Stay tuned for my “Reached My Goal Weight” post one day!

So I saw myquirkylife reposted this and I just wanted to be honest about the process above.  Yes I reached that weight but like Oprah, I gained some of it pretty quickly.  I’m about 3-5 lbs heavier now and this is what my body likes to be at.  I can cheat one day, be good the next and stay this weight.  That weight (below 130), does not allow me to cheat. 

I’ve found that everyone has a comfort weight that’s within 5-10 lbs of their “goal weight.”  It’s for pure vanity reasons, not health.  I’m perfectly healthy with the additional 5 lbs, but the way I feel is like 100x happier and more energetic.  The post above is not a lie, but the next week was Christmas and everyone who reads SarahFit knows how much I love my sweets!  That was the end of the goal weight.  I flutter around 132-134 on a regular basis, so I didn’t lie but I’ve never seen below 130 since.
